DESCRIPTION:NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS \nAkron Preparatory School\, Canton College Preparatory\nSchool\, Euclid Preparatory School\, Lake Erie\nPreparatory School\, and Ohio College Preparatory\nSchool \nIDEA Part B Funds \nThe Board of Directors for Akron Preparatory School\, Canton\nCollege Preparatory School\, Euclid Preparatory School\, Lake Erie\nPreparatory School\, and Ohio College Preparatory School are\nrequired by federal and state law to hold a Public Hearing to allow for\npublic comment on the use of IDEA Part B funds. \nThe Public Hearing will be held during the October Board Meeting. \nTest Preparation Time Limit Waiver \nPursuant to ORC 3301.0729\, there is a limit to the amount of time in\nwhich schools may engage in test preparation for students;\napproximately 2% of total instructional hours\, with some exceptions. \nThe school wishes to apply for a waiver in order to provide\nassistance to the students who need the additional testing\npreparation time. \nThe Board shall hold a Public Hearing on the application for the\nwaiver\, and invites the public to provide commentary and/or opinion. \nThe Public Hearing will be held during the October Board Meeting. \nLocation\, Date\, and Time:\nEuclid Preparatory School\n23001 Euclid Avenue\nEuclid\, Ohio 44117\nOctober 13\, 2022\n6:00 p.m.
